Misrata Free Zone Signs an International Strategic Partnership to Develop and Operate Container Terminals, Strengthening Its Role as a Regional Logistics Hub

The Misurata Free Zone signed a strategic partnership agreement with one of the world’s leading global companies to invest in, operate, and develop container terminals— a step that strengthens the port’s position as a regional logistics hub and increases its capacity in accordance with the highest international standards.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Mr. Abdulhamid Aldabaiba ; the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani; Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Antonio Tajani; the Chairman of the Management Committee of Misurata Free Zone, Mr. Muhsin Sigutri; the president of MSC group, Mr. Diego Aponte; the Chairman of the Board of TiL, Mr. Ammar Kanaan; and the Chairman of the Board of Maha Capital Partners, Mr. Aboobacker Manattukundayi.
