Misurata Free Zone Launches Libyan-Italian Business & Investment Forum to Strengthen Bilateral Partnerships

The Libyan-Italian Business & Investment Forum – Misrata 2026 officially opened today in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Transport, Eng. Mohamed Al-Shahoubi; Chairman of Misurata Free Zone, Eng. Muhsin Sigutri; President of the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce, Nicola Colicchi; and Member of the Italian Parliament, Marco Scurria.

Organized by Misurata Free Zone in cooperation with the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Forum brings together around 60 Italian companies and institutions, alongside officials and representatives of economic and business organizations from both countries.

The Forum builds on the roadshow organized by Misurata Free Zone in Rome last July, which helped strengthen direct engagement with the Italian business community and showcase the investment opportunities available at the Free Zone.
